Welcome: it's about time ...

I've not previously been into the blogging scene, which is surprising to many, since my loves of communication and journalistic design come together so well in such a technology. Of course, with moving and adjustment to married life transitioning into a demanding job and grown-up-life maintenance, I settled with holiday letters and occasional phone calls and visits. However, after nearly four years, when I got pregnant, I realized our life in progress could be of even more interest to family and friends. Some of the pals we've gotten to know here, transplanted to Houston, mentioned how they used blogs to allow loved ones a sort of on-demand window into their lives (while they still controlled the curtains ... errr ... what and when they shared). I started visiting these blogs out of curiosity, and I really enjoyed reading posts, looking at photos and playing videos. Sold! So, I'm starting this late, and initially I'll be giving some news retroactively (such as early pregnancy info/pics), but I've always been a better-late-than-never type of girl.
